The Constitution of the United States clearly states that if a sitting President is charged with treason, using foreign intelligence services to trainwreck a presidential candidates's campaign, he can be removed from office by the Judicial Branch, Supreme Court, and then tried in the Senate on treason charges.
You cannot have a sitting president who is charged with treason.
If he is not removed from office, he can start a Machiavellian war with North Korea or Iran in an attempt to stymie the impeachment committee.
